Built from restriction

This one came out of an afternoon experiment, where I set myself some restrictions. A lot of my work leans into hyper detail, so the challenge here was to pull back from that and let the form do the talking. The idea was to find the interesting moments already living in the shape, then use colour alone to build the depth and structure out of it. It's a different way of working for me, but I think there's something really compelling in that restraint.
