Nike Free 5.0

Working with ManvsMachine and Nike, I helped craft a motion piece for the launch of the Nike Free 5.0 — a shoe engineered to allow a natural range of motion while running.

Exploring the boundary between the real and the artificial, we reimagined the shoe as a bonsai tree, crafting a timelapse of a bonsai-styled foot to express the Free's roots in the natural world — its feel, its form, its movement.
